Cosmic Eclipse Encounter

Bear witness to a near total Solar Eclipse, a once-in-a-generation cosmic event that has captivated people since the dawn of time. The City of Katy is partnering with the Katy Branch Library to host a viewing on Monday, April 8, 2024 from 12:30-2p.m. at Katy Arboretum.

There will be some pre-eclipse story times, lawn games and crafts for entertainment while we wait for the maximum point. It will only be visible for about 4 minutes, so don't be late!

• Max: 1:39 p.m.
• End: 3:00 p.m.

**Eclipse viewing glasses will be available , but supplies will be limited and handed out in order of arrival.**
