Copper Grove Community Blood Drive

In honor of American Heart Month, Copper Grove is hosting a community blood drive to support patients undergoing critical heart surgeries and other lifesaving medical treatments. Blood donations play a vital role in cardiac care, with many heart procedures requiring transfusions during or after surgery.

Why It Matters

• Nearly half of cardiac surgeries require blood transfusions
• Open-heart surgeries can use an average of 28 units of blood
• Local donations help ensure hospitals are prepared when lives are on the line

Donor Thank-You & Health Benefit

• All successful donors will receive a free quarter-zip pullover
• Donors will also receive a free A1C pre-diabetes screening

Goal

The Copper Grove Board of Directors is encouraging residents to help reach the goal of 25 or more donors signed up prior to the event.

How to Participate

• Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome.
