SEWA/AmeriCorp helps kids from 8 to12 implement disaster preparedness plans for their families and neighborhoods with a focus on readiness, resilience, and a reduction of risks associated with disaster. In this seminar, kids will learn about different disasters that affect the Houston area, how to prepare their families for emergencies, and how to make an emergency kit.
