The Kleb Woods Nature Center in Tomball will once again welcome families, bird enthusiasts, and nature lovers for the 17th Annual Hummingbird Festival on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hosted by Harris County Precinct 4, this free community event offers a rare opportunity to witness hummingbirds at the height of their fall migration while enjoying games, hands-on activities, and educational programming for all ages.
Event Highlights include:
- Guided Nature Walks – Explore the scenic trails with expert naturalists.
- 1896 Kleb House Tour – Step into history with a guided visit to the restored homestead.
- Hummingbird Viewing – Marvel at these dazzling birds up close and learn about their unique biology.
- Hummingbird Banding (10 a.m. – 1 p.m.) – Watch researchers gently catch, measure, and release hummingbirds to aid in scientific study.
