Fan favorite singer Lynn Smith is back at MB Speakeasy!

Lynn C. Smith is an American vocalist born in Austin, Texas, and raised in Dayton, Ohio. He has been singing and performing since 5 years old in church, where his father pastored. He was recognized as one of the best lead vocalists in the church choir. He was influenced by singers like Johnny Mathis, Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Nat King Cole, Lionel Ritchie, Smokey Robinson, & Sam Cooke, just to name a few.

Lynn developed his unique singing style as he grew and has performed all over the world and for television. He served in the military from 1977-1985 and was also contracted to sing for the military while in Europe for 5 years. He retired from the federal government after 43 years. For over 50 years, his smooth and calming vocals have mesmerized audiences all over the country. Lynn’s wife, Gailand, supports him at every show. Lynn’s love for his music is a close second when it comes to the love he has for his family. In 1995,

Lynn and Gailand adopted six (6) siblings in an effort to keep them from being separated. Lynn & Gailand have 8 children and 26 grandchildren. He believes his faith in God and love for his family has always gotten him through every obstacle. Currently, Lynn performs for restaurants, weddings, private events, etc. “I am so blessed to have had such an incredible adventure throughout my life and music career. The people I have met along the way have only made me a better person. I pray that all I have met along the way will have a wonderfully blessed and prosperous life as I have. I am so thankful and looking forward to the next new adventure. My favorite movie will always be “It’s a Wonderful Life,” starring James Stewart & Donna Reed.”
