Jersey Mike’s Subs Near Heritage Park West Opens Oct. 7 at The Market at Katy Park
A new Jersey Mike’s Subs is set to open Wednesday, Oct. 7, at The Market at Katy Park, giving residents of Heritage Park West and surrounding neighborhoods another nearby option for lunch, dinner and takeout.
The restaurant is located at 24818 Morton Ranch Road, Suite 550, Katy, TX 77493. The 1,630-square-foot space was built out specifically for the sandwich shop and includes a full kitchen, updated mechanical and electrical systems, and the brand’s familiar counter-service setup.
The opening adds another recognizable restaurant name to a part of north Katy that continues to see new homes, retail and services arrive. For residents of Heritage Park West, Williamsburg Parish, Camillo Lakes and other nearby communities, the new location offers another convenient dining option without having to travel farther into Katy.
What Jersey Mike’s Is Known For
Jersey Mike’s is known for made-to-order subs with meats and cheeses sliced fresh in front of customers. Cold subs can be ordered “Mike’s Way” with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, red wine vinegar, olive oil blend and spices.
Popular menu choices include the #13 Original Italian, made with provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami and pepperoni, along with the #7 Turkey and Provolone. The menu also includes hot subs such as the #17 Famous Philly, plus chips, drinks, desserts, kids meals and catering options.
The company traces its roots to 1956, when the original Mike’s sandwich shop opened in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. The brand later expanded across the country while keeping many of the same traditions that helped build its following, including slicing ingredients to order and preparing sandwiches in view of customers.
Another Addition to a Growing Katy Corridor
The Market at Katy Park continues to fill in with new restaurants, retail and service businesses as development expands around Morton Ranch Road. The arrival of Jersey Mike’s gives residents in and around Heritage Park West another familiar option close to home while adding to the growing mix of businesses serving north Katy.
