Temple Training Center has recently opened their new facility at 16659 Telge Road, Cypress TX 77429 including Elixir Muscle Recovery within the complex, bringing its innovative approach to athletic performance and muscle recovery the community.
Elixir Muscle Recovery, with locations in various states across the country, focuses on assisting in speedy recovery and injury prevention for athletes and fitness enthusiasts. The company, established by Jason Brown, was born from the alarming surge in young sports players' injuries due to escalating demands of club and school sports. Elixir’s protocols have since proven successful, decreasing injury rates by as much as 85% over a single sports season.
The newly opened facility in Cypress is located inside the Temple Training Center, featuring amenities like two high school regulation basketball courts, one NBA regulation court, a Pro Shop & Lounge featured by Villain Soles, a weight room, whirlpool therapy room, and of course, the Elixir Recovery Room.
Elixir Muscle Recovery provides treatments that can restore muscle function and significantly improve performance with just a 20-minute session a few times a week. The recovery protocols, performed in state-of-the-art facilities, involve Red-light Cold Ice Compression, Muscle Compression Recovery, Whole-body Vibe Plate Stretching, and Muscle Stim- Red-light Heat, tailored to reduce inflammation, improve blood flow, and enhance the range of motion. Founded by Coach Anthony Willis, a dedicated athlete and mentor, Coach Willis launched the Temple Training Center to offer professional guidance in fitness and basketball. Originally established in September 2013 as TBT Sports, the organization has since expanded to include AAU boy's basketball, small group training, outreach initiatives, and a volunteering program. Drawing inspiration from his personal journey and the loss of his mother, Coach Willis created TBT Sports as a platform to guide young athletes on their paths to becoming better athletes and individuals.
Despite challenging times during the pandemic, Coach Willis seized the opportunity to revamp and rebrand his organization, introducing the Temple Training Center. With its dedicated focus on basketball development, personal training, and fostering a sense of family, the Temple Training Center aims to shape the younger generation into well-rounded individuals.
