Sgt. Flores Issues Important Announcement for Nottingham Residents

March 03 2024

Attention Nottingham Country Residents:

I am sending this message out as a friendly reminder after having a great discussion with Sgt. Flores.

"Please always secure your belongings in cars and trucks. Most thieves are a looking for easy opportunities such as leaving valuables in your vehicle. Bags, backpacks, and computers in plain view may be enough incentive to break a window however most are looking for unlocked doors. Purses, wallets, cash, identifying documents, car keys and weapons are what they hope to get quickly.

If you feel strongly about leaving your vehicles unsecured, please remove your valuables. There have been occasions when an owner leaves the keys in the car and the thieves take the opportunity to steal the car. This is a recipe for disaster.

Overall, the community of Nottingham Country is safe, though it should not be taken for granted. The deputies of Precinct 5 will continue to be vigilant in patrolling the community and with your help, make Nottingham even safer. If you have any questions, please send them to the HOA manager Telee Horacefield at thoracefield@chaparralmanagement.com and info@nottinghamcountry.org.

But most importantly, please ALWAYS contact Precinct 5 Dispatch at 281-463-6666 and they will be happy to respond. – Sgt. J. Flores, Sergeant, Patrol Division."

Respectfully,

Brittany Severin, NCCIA President
