Experience a Hilarious Twist on a Holiday Classic at Lone Star College-CyFair
This holiday season, prepare for an evening filled with laughter and nostalgia at the Lone Star College-CyFair's Drama Department's rendition of “A 1940s Christmas Carol, A Radio Play.” This unique and comedic take on the beloved classic tale is set in December 1940, in Kansas City’s KFLG AM radio station, where unexpected circumstances have collided with the imminent live performance.
Faced with the sudden disappearance of their sound engineer and his equipment, just ten minutes before show time, the radio cast is plunged into a whirlwind of improvisation. This fast-paced chaos sets the stage for an unforgettable performance, as the cast scramble to create all the needed sounds on the fly.
This comical adaptation of "A Christmas Carol," penned by Page Petrucka, showcases the enormous talent and quick-thinking of LSC-CyFair’s student cast as they navigate through a series of unexpected twists and turns.
