Cy-Fair Women's Club Now Accepting 2024 Scholarship Applications
The Cy-Fair Women's Club is looking for your men and women in their senior year of high school who give back to their community.
Once again, the Cy-Fair Women's Club (CWC) is offering college scholarships to seniors (both male and female) who reside in Cypress Fairbanks ISD boundaries and are graduating from any CFISD high school, home school or private school - and plan to attend, on a full-time basis, an accredited two or four-year college, university or technical school. The primary focus of this scholarship is to award students who give back to their community through community service.
The CWC gives an average of 20 students this scholarship each year and each winning student is awarded $1,000. The CWC's generosity is directly sourced from fundraising efforts from their large-scale event Shop Til You Drop, which takes place every September, along with support from the CWC's Community Sponsors. To date, the CWC has awarded over $200,000 to more than 200 students.
The deadline to apply for this annual scholarship opportunity is Monday, February 5, 2024. The application can be found on the CWC's website at www.cyfairwomensclub.org. Under the menu bar, go to "Community Outreach", then "Scholarships".
