Conroe ISD Senior Priority Pass Brings Free School Events to Granger Pines Residents
Conroe ISD is thanking older members of the community with a pass that can turn the district calendar into a year-round source of free local entertainment.
The Conroe ISD Senior Priority Pass is available to district residents age 60 and older, including eligible adults in Granger Pines.
Passholders receive free admission to Conroe ISD athletic events at district facilities, excluding playoffs. They may also attend student fine arts performances at district facilities at no charge, with fundraising events excluded.
How to Get a Conroe ISD Senior Priority Pass
Eligible residents can visit the Conroe ISD Communications Department at 3205 West Davis Street in Conroe from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Applicants must present photo identification showing proof of residence within Conroe ISD. Questions may be directed to the Communications Department at 936-709-7708.
Residents should bring their pass to participating events and review individual event information in advance, particularly for playoff games, fundraisers and productions with limited seating.
Community Connection Without a Long Drive
For older adults, school events offer convenient opportunities to enjoy live entertainment, spend time with friends and stay connected with the community. Athletic seasons and fine arts calendars also provide a steady selection of activities throughout the year.
That involvement can help seniors feel more familiar with the schools, students and families around them. It may even introduce residents to a sport, music program or theatrical production they have not experienced before.
When seniors from Granger Pines attend, they add another generation to the audience. Their applause and encouragement remind students that their work is noticed and valued throughout the community—not only on campus.
The Senior Priority Pass removes a common barrier by eliminating regular admission costs. For qualifying residents of Granger Pines, it is an invitation to discover local talent, support students and become a familiar face at Conroe ISD events.
