Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce Recognized by City of Tomball for Recent Accreditation
In a notable moment of civic recognition, the City of Tomball has officially declared December 18, 2023, as "Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce Day". This proclamation was made last week by Mayor Lori Klein Quinn and the City Council in honor of the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce's recent achievement of gaining a five-star Accreditation designation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce's five-star accreditation is a significant achievement, setting the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce amongst the elite. It now proudly stands as one of just 30 five-star accredited chambers in Texas and is part of a select group of 199 chambers across the nation that carry this esteemed distinction. This prestige is not easily earned, as only around 900 chambers have participated in the accreditation program since its inception in 1964.
Accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is an honor that speaks volumes about a chamber's level of expertise, quality of service, and leadership. In the vast sea of approximately 7,000 chambers in the United States, this accreditation clearly distinguishes the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce as an organization committed to excellence.
