Fort Bend County Master Gardeners' Annual Fall Vegetable-Herb Plant Sale

The Fort Bend County Master Gardeners are holding their annual Fall Vegetable-Herb Plant Sale on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM. The sale will be held in the Extension Education Center behind the Extension Office at 1402 Band Road, Rosenberg, TX 77471.
The varieties of fall plants offered for sale have been recommended for Fort Bend County by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Fort Bend County Master Gardeners. The plants are grown by the Fort Bend County Master Gardeners. Some of the vegetable plants that will be available include broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, kohlrabi, celery, cauliflower, lettuce, pac choi, and more.

Fall is also a good time to add herbs to your garden. Herbs brighten up many recipes and also make wonderful landscape plants since many of them are perennial. Chamomile, cilantro, dill, marjoram, parsley, sage, and thyme are some of the herbs that are expected to be available.
