FBS Senior Wins Fishing Tournament

On February 9, the first annual Senior Adult Fishing Tournament presented by the Fort Bend County Parks and Fairgrounds department was held at Jones Creek Ranch Park in Richmond. Approximately 100 local seniors participated in the event.
Ms. Effie from the Fort Bend Seniors' Brookshire Senior Center won longest fish with a 15" Drum Fish. Trophies were given for longest fish and the most fish caught.
Support for this event was provided by Commissioner Vincent Morales, Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels, and Fort Bend County Precinct 1 Constable's Office, as well as Fort Bend Transit.
