7 Brew Coffee Expanding to Richmond With New Drive-Thru Location at Former Salad and Go Site
A new 7 Brew Coffee location is headed to Richmond, bringing another fast-growing drive-thru beverage option to one of Fort Bend County’s rapidly expanding commercial corridors.
According to project information filed with the state, 7 Brew Coffee Shop will renovate the former Salad and Go building at 19110 W. Bellfort in Richmond, near the Grand Parkway and growing residential communities throughout the area. Construction is expected to begin in August 2026 and wrap up in November 2026.
The project includes a 600-square-foot renovation of the existing restaurant space with an estimated cost of $500,000. The work is privately funded and classified as a renovation and alteration project.
For Richmond-area residents, the arrival of 7 Brew reflects a larger trend shaping Fort Bend County as national brands continue investing in fast-growing suburban communities where demand for convenient dining and beverage options remains strong. The West Bellfort corridor has seen increasing commercial activity in recent years as new neighborhoods, retail centers, and mixed-use developments continue expanding westward.
Drive-Thru Coffee Culture Continues Growing in Fort Bend County
Founded in Northwest Arkansas in 2017, 7 Brew has quickly become one of the nation’s fastest-growing beverage chains, known for its high-energy drive-thru model and extensive customizable drink menu.
The company says its mission centers around “Cultivating Kindness” through fast, upbeat customer service and personalized drinks. Since changing ownership in 2020 under Brew Culture LLC, the brand has rapidly expanded from just seven locations to more than 700 stands across 38 states.
The menu includes more than 20,000 possible drink combinations across categories like hot and iced coffee, energy drinks, teas, lemonades, smoothies, shakes, and sparkling sodas. The chain has become especially popular among younger customers and commuters looking for quick drive-thru service with customizable beverages.
Among the company’s most popular menu categories are the “7 Originals,” signature coffee drinks that include favorites like the Blondie, a caramel and vanilla breve; the Cinnamon Roll; and the White Chocolate Mocha. Customers can order drinks hot, iced, or blended depending on preference.
The menu also includes “7 Classics,” featuring familiar coffeehouse staples like lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, cold brew, chai tea, and drip coffee, alongside customizable flavor add-ins and milk options.
Beyond coffee, 7 Brew has built a strong following for its colorful “7 Energy” drinks — fruit-forward energy beverages available in dozens of flavor combinations. Popular blends include options mixed with blue raspberry, watermelon, strawberry, coconut, pineapple, and other flavored syrups designed for customers looking for alternatives to traditional coffee drinks.
Residents can also expect sparkling “7 Fizz” sodas, flavored lemonades, teas, matcha drinks, smoothies, and milkshakes to be part of the Richmond menu. Smoothie flavors include fruit-based combinations like strawberry banana and tropical blends, while shake offerings feature dessert-inspired options such as chocolate, vanilla, and caramel flavors.
One of the brand’s biggest draws is its emphasis on customization. Customers can personalize nearly every drink with flavor combinations, sweetness levels, toppings, espresso shots, alternative milks, and energy boosts, creating what the company says amounts to more than 20,000 possible drink combinations.
The variety has helped make 7 Brew a popular stop not only for morning coffee runs, but also for afternoon energy drinks, after-school treats, and late-day beverage runs for families and teens alike.
Beyond beverages, 7 Brew locations are also known for their upbeat atmosphere and customer-focused service model. The company refers to its employees as the “Brew Crew,” with each stand typically employing and mentoring dozens of local team members.
That hiring model could bring additional employment opportunities to Richmond-area residents once the new location opens later this year.
Former Salad and Go Site Getting New Life
The upcoming Richmond location will repurpose the existing Salad and Go building, giving new commercial life to a site already designed for quick-service drive-thru operations.
Adaptive reuse projects like this have become increasingly common throughout Fort Bend County as businesses look for faster ways to enter growing suburban markets without constructing entirely new facilities from the ground up.
Residents familiar with the area may welcome another late-morning and afternoon beverage option near nearby schools, neighborhoods, and commuter routes connected to the Grand Parkway corridor.
Community Giving Part of Brand Identity
As the company continues expanding nationwide, 7 Brew has also emphasized charitable giving and community involvement as part of its brand identity.
According to the company, 7 Brew and its franchise network have donated more than $1.3 million to community causes and provided more than 5 million drinks to local organizations and events nationwide. The company also partners with organizations including Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the Cultivate Kindness Foundation.
While an official opening date for the Richmond location has not yet been announced, the renovation timeline suggests the new drive-thru coffee stand could open before the end of 2026.
For residents across Richmond and nearby Fort Bend County communities, the addition marks another sign of the area’s continued commercial growth — and another convenient stop for coffee, energy drinks, and quick drive-thru service close to home.
