As communities across the country prepare to commemorate America's 250th anniversary, Fulshear residents will have an opportunity to celebrate close to home with one of the city's most anticipated summer traditions.

Fulshear Freedom Fest 2026 is scheduled for Friday, July 3, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Fulshear High School, bringing together families, friends, local businesses, and community organizations for an evening centered on patriotism, entertainment, and hometown pride.

Hosted by the Fulshear Regional Chamber of Commerce, the free community event will feature a wide variety of activities designed to appeal to all ages, creating an opportunity for residents to gather and celebrate the nation's milestone birthday while strengthening local connections.

A Community Celebration for America 250

This year's Freedom Fest arrives as communities nationwide recognize America 250, the semiquincentennial celebration marking 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

For Fulshear, the event serves as more than just a holiday gathering. It offers residents a chance to spend time with neighbors, support local vendors, and enjoy an evening that reflects the strong sense of community that continues to define one of Texas' fastest-growing cities.

The event will take place at Fulshear High School, located at 9302 Charger Way, Fulshear, TX 77441.

Admission is free, making the celebration accessible for families looking for a fun and affordable way to kick off the Independence Day weekend.

Live Music, Food Trucks, Vendors and Family Fun

Throughout the evening, attendees can enjoy a variety of attractions, including:

  • Children's activities and family entertainment
  • Food trucks offering a range of dining options
  • Local vendor booths
  • Live music from Emotions
  • Community engagement opportunities

The combination of live entertainment and family-friendly activities has made Freedom Fest a popular annual tradition for residents throughout Fulshear and surrounding Fort Bend County communities.

For local businesses and organizations, the event also provides an opportunity to connect directly with residents and showcase products, services, and community initiatives.

Two Sky Shows Will Cap Off the Evening

One of the most anticipated features of Fulshear Freedom Fest 2026 will be the event's grand finale.

Attendees will experience two separate sky shows designed to close out the celebration in memorable fashion:

The combination of synchronized drone technology and traditional fireworks is expected to create a unique visual experience for attendees as the community celebrates Independence Day and America's 250th anniversary.

Chamber Continues a Tradition of Bringing the Community Together

The event is organized by the Fulshear Regional Chamber of Commerce, an organization dedicated to supporting local businesses, fostering economic growth, and strengthening community engagement throughout the Fulshear area.

Events such as Freedom Fest help create opportunities for residents to connect with one another while highlighting the businesses, organizations, and civic partners that contribute to the area's continued growth and success.

As Fulshear continues to welcome new residents and businesses, community events like Freedom Fest play an important role in preserving the hometown atmosphere that many families value.
