The Benefits of Gardening for Children
Participating in gardening activities offers a range of benefits for children, from promoting physical health to encouraging curiosity about the environment. According to research from the American Society for Horticultural Science, gardening improves children's motor skills, enhances their ability to focus, and fosters a deeper understanding of plant life cycles. Exposure to gardening also promotes healthy eating habits, as children who engage in hands-on gardening experiences are more likely to develop an interest in fruits and vegetables.
