Yorktown Colony HOA Board Meetings Offer Residents a Voice in Community Decisions

Yorktown Colony HOA Board Meetings Offer Residents a Voice in Community Decisions

June 11 2026

Strong communities are built when residents stay informed, engaged, and involved in the decisions that affect their neighborhoods. For Yorktown Colony homeowners, one of the easiest ways to do that is by attending the community's monthly Board of Directors meetings.

The Yorktown Colony Board of Directors meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at 6760 Kentwick Drive, Houston, TX 77084. These meetings provide residents with an opportunity to hear updates on community operations, learn about ongoing projects, and better understand the decisions that impact the neighborhood's appearance, amenities, finances, and long-term planning.

For many homeowners, HOA meetings are also an important forum for raising questions, sharing concerns, and offering feedback. Whether residents have ideas for community improvements, concerns about maintenance issues, or simply want to stay informed about what's happening in the neighborhood, attending a board meeting helps ensure their voices are part of the conversation.

As Yorktown Colony continues to evolve, resident participation plays an important role in helping community leaders understand the needs and priorities of homeowners. Board members make decisions on behalf of the community, and hearing directly from residents can provide valuable perspective that helps guide those decisions.

Even for residents who do not have a specific issue to discuss, attending a meeting can be a great way to gain insight into how the community operates and stay connected with neighborhood developments. A well-informed community is often a stronger and more engaged one, and these monthly meetings provide an opportunity for neighbors to work together toward shared goals.

Residents are encouraged to contact Community Association Manager Jennifer Thomas by phone at 281-857-6027 or by email at j.thomas@sbbmanagement.com
