Yorktown Colony Christmas Lights Contest Shines Bright with Community Spirit and Holiday Magic

January 08 2026

The holiday spirit was alive and glowing throughout Yorktown Colony this season as residents went all out for the annual Christmas Lights Contest, transforming the community into a glittering winter wonderland. With homes decked out in twinkling lights, creative themes, and heartwarming displays, this beloved neighborhood tradition brought joy to families, fostered community pride, and made choosing the winners a truly difficult task for this year’s judges.

Organized by the Yorktown Colony HOA, the contest saw incredible participation and festive flair, turning the streets into a celebration of holiday magic. Neighbors strolled the sidewalks admiring the cheerful glow, and many shared their appreciation for the effort put in by homeowners to spread holiday cheer.

“It was genuinely heartwarming to witness so many residents dedicate their time and effort to transforming our neighborhood,” shared HOA Board president Alex Silerio. “The judging process was wonderfully challenging thanks to the high level of creativity and community pride on full display.”

After careful consideration, the HOA is proud to announce the 2025 Christmas Lights Contest winners:

  • 1st Place: 15006 Ringfield
A true holiday masterpiece, this home’s elaborate and breathtaking display captivated everyone who passed by. With its dazzling arrangement and festive elegance, it earned top honors with ease.
  • 2nd Place: 6443 Alerton
This residence enchanted the neighborhood with a beautifully coordinated setup that radiated warmth and holiday charm. The magical atmosphere it created was unforgettable.
  • 3rd Place: 15130 Mulberry Meadows
Selected for its innovative lighting design and artistic flair, this home stood out with a creative impact that wowed the judges and neighbors alike.

Publicly recognizing these standout homes is about more than just awarding prizes—it’s a way to celebrate the togetherness and creativity that make Yorktown Colony such a special place to call home. The HOA hopes this year’s contest will spark even more participation in the years to come.

Whether you went big and bold or kept it classic and cozy, every resident’s contribution helped make the neighborhood a brighter, more joyful place this holiday season.

Congratulations to the winners—and thank you to all who lit up Yorktown Colony with holiday cheer!
