Williamsburg Colony May 2026 Constable Report Highlights Continued Proactive Patrol Presence Across the Community

June 04 2026

Residents of Williamsburg Colony benefited from a strong proactive law enforcement presence throughout May 2026, according to the latest Beat Activity Report from the Harris County Precinct 5 Constable's Office.

The report reflects a continued emphasis on crime prevention, neighborhood visibility, and resident engagement, with deputies conducting hundreds of proactive patrol activities across the community while responding to a relatively limited number of incident-related calls.

For homeowners and families, the report offers a snapshot of the ongoing efforts taking place behind the scenes to help maintain safety and quality of life throughout Williamsburg Colony.

Proactive Patrols Account for the Majority of Activity

The most significant category in the May report was Contract Checks, with deputies conducting 396 patrol checks throughout Williamsburg Colony during the month.

Contract checks are proactive patrols performed by deputies assigned to the neighborhood. These patrols focus on visibility, crime deterrence, suspicious activity monitoring, and routine observation of community assets and common areas.

In addition to contract patrols, deputies logged:

  • 13 Meet the Citizen/Officer contacts
  • 5 Vacation Watch checks
  • 5 Special Assignments
  • 2 Local Alarm calls
  • 1 Welfare Check
  • 1 Information Call

These activities demonstrate the continued focus on prevention and community policing, helping deputies build relationships with residents while maintaining a visible presence throughout the neighborhood.

Service Calls and Reported Incidents Remained Limited

The report also documented several calls for service and incident-related activities during May.

Among the reported incidents and service calls were:

  • 3 Suspicious Vehicle calls
  • 3 Mental Health Calls
  • 3 Family Disturbances
  • 3 Loud Noise Disturbances
  • 2 Follow-Up investigations
  • 1 Motor Vehicle Burglary
  • 1 Credit Card Abuse case
  • 1 Terroristic Threat report
  • 1 Drug Overdose/Possession incident
  • 1 Civil Process/Service call
  • 1 Animal Humane call
  • 1 Arson/Fire-related call
  • 1 Solicitor-related call
  • 1 Vehicle Stickered incident
  • 1 Unknown Medical Emergency

While each call represents a unique situation requiring deputy response, the overall volume of incident-related activity remained relatively low compared to the extensive proactive patrol efforts conducted throughout the month.

Community Partnerships Continue to Play an Important Role

The report reflects more than enforcement activity alone. Programs such as Vacation Watch requests and citizen contacts highlight the role residents play in helping maintain neighborhood safety.

Residents planning summer travel can take advantage of the Harris County Precinct 5 Constable's Office Vacation Watch Program, which provides additional patrol attention to registered homes while owners are away.

Likewise, reporting suspicious activity, securing vehicles, and maintaining communication with law enforcement remain important tools for preventing crime before it occurs.

See Something, Say Something

Neighborhood safety is most effective when residents and law enforcement work together. Williamsburg Colony residents are encouraged to report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or potential criminal activity as soon as possible.

For non-emergency concerns requiring deputy assistance, contact the Harris County Precinct 5 Constable's Office Dispatch at 281-463-6666, which is available 24 hours a day.

Residents can also submit information, tips, or concerns online through the Precinct 5 Online Crime Tips portal at constablepct5.com/online-crime-tips. The online form allows residents to report suspicious activity and share information directly with the department.

As always, residents should call 911 if they witness a crime in progress or encounter an emergency situation requiring an immediate response.

What the May Report Means for Williamsburg Colony

Overall, the report reflects 446 documented activities during May when all patrol, service call, and community engagement categories are combined, with proactive patrols accounting for the overwhelming majority of activity.

For Williamsburg Colony residents, the report reflects a continued investment in visible law enforcement presence, preventative patrol strategies, and community engagement efforts designed to help keep the neighborhood safe.

As summer activity increases and more families spend time outdoors, proactive policing and resident awareness remain important components of preserving the strong sense of security that Williamsburg Colony residents value.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed, remain vigilant, and continue partnering with the Harris County Precinct 5 Constable's Office to help maintain a safe and welcoming community environment.
