Wells Elementary School fourth grader Isaac Ye has been selected as Cy-Fair ISD’s Student of the Week for his outstanding achievements both inside and outside the classroom. At just 10 years old, Isaac is already making a mark with his academic dedication, athletic accomplishments, and strong character.

Isaac Ye’s teachers at Wells Elementary have praised him for his commitment to excellence, noting his exceptional work ethic and well-rounded personality. His dedication to learning and personal growth has made him a standout student at his school.

“I like math because I am very good at it,” Isaac says, highlighting his strong academic abilities. His love for learning is reflected in his performance in the classroom, but his talents extend beyond academics. Isaac is also a red belt in taekwondo, a major achievement that demonstrates his discipline and focus in martial arts. Recently, he began participating in soccer club, expanding his athletic interests and showcasing his enthusiasm for new challenges.

Isaac’s passion for sports, particularly soccer, is evident. “I am passionate about soccer,” he says, a sentiment that resonates with his active lifestyle. Outside of school, Isaac enjoys going to taekwondo, where he trains diligently toward his goal of earning a black belt. “My ambition is to get a black belt in taekwondo,” he shares with determination.

He enjoys spending time with his friends, especially playing games on Roblox. “I like Roblox because I can play with my friends,” he says. Isaac’s friendships also inspire him, particularly one close friend who motivates him with his intelligence. “My friend inspires me because he is very smart,” Isaac explains.

When asked what he couldn’t live without, Isaac’s answer reflects his values and priorities: “I cannot live without my iPad, family, and friends,” he says, emphasizing the importance of both technology and human connections in his life.

Isaac’s diverse range of interests—from academics to athletics and friendships—demonstrates his well-rounded nature and dedication to personal growth.
