A REMINDER OF AN OVERLOOKED MAINTENANCE FEE PAYMENT OPTION
For those who have difficulty in making the January 1 Association maintenance fee payment every year there is an option that you may want to consider. Although at first it may seem counterintuitive, with a bit of advanced planning it has considerable advantages. This is to get “ahead of the curve” and prepay your fees. At no cost to you, you can make regular (or irregular!) payments of any value either by check or online via the Crest website, thus building a prepaid balance. So when the invoice for the following year arrives you will have a part or all of it already paid!
You will also avoid all fees and interest charges associated with a Payment Agreement; you will be able to get your pool tags and rent the clubhouse; you won’t get your trash cut off for late payment, and you will never end up with large collection bills from the Association Attorney. What’s not to love about this?
