About Katy Manor

With its stone entrance monument, landscaped entry and neighborhood places to play, Katy Manor is a community of single-family homes in the northern Katy area of Harris County, Texas. The neighborhood brings together the Katy Manor and Katy Manor South subdivisions, offering a residential setting within reach of the shopping, recreation and employment opportunities of greater Katy and west Houston. Interstate 10 and the Grand Parkway connect the surrounding area to destinations across the Houston region.

KB Home introduced Katy Manor in 2017 with two home collections, Katy Manor Preserve and Katy Manor Trails. The original offerings included one- and two-story floor plans with three to five bedrooms, ranging from approximately 1,585 to 3,353 square feet. That variety is part of the neighborhood’s character, bringing together homes with different sizes and layouts within one community.

Outdoor recreation has a place close to home at Katy Manor’s two neighborhood recreation areas, at North Park on Stone Castle Tower Street and at Abbey Manor. Splash pads and playgrounds offer space for outdoor fun, while covered pavilions and picnic tables provide places to take a break in the shade or share a meal. North Park also includes outdoor restrooms. These shared spaces give residents opportunities to spend time outside and enjoy a change of scenery without planning a larger outing.

Beyond the neighborhood, the Katy area offers a wider choice of places to explore. Katy Park, on Morton Road, includes baseball and soccer fields, picnic areas and a walking trail. Shopping and dining destinations such as Katy Mills and LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch add options for an afternoon out, a meal with friends or weekend errands.

Katy Manor is served by Katy Independent School District, connecting the neighborhood to the broader Katy school community. Attendance paths vary between the north/main subdivision and Katy Manor South, so residents can find the details for each section on the Katy Manor Schools page. Together with its homes and recreation areas, that connection to the surrounding community is an important part of everyday life here.

Katy Manor’s appeal lies in this combination of a residential neighborhood and access to the larger Katy area. A visit to the splash pad, time at a nearby park or an evening out can each be part of life in the community. Its mix of home designs and shared outdoor spaces gives the neighborhood a distinct place within the growing landscape of west Houston.
