REMINDER: Williamsburg Colony Annual Meeting Set for October 14; Proxy Returns Requested by October 9

Williamsburg Colony  /
October 07 2026

Williamsburg Colony homeowners will elect one director to a three-year term at the community’s annual meeting on Wednesday, October 14, at 8 p.m. The meeting will take place at 2315 John Crump Lane in Katy, and homeowners who cannot attend are asked to return a directed proxy by noon Friday, October 9.

The Williamsburg Colony Maintenance Association needs a 10% quorum to conduct business. Returning a completed proxy gives homeowners a way to help the association reach that threshold even when they cannot be at the meeting themselves.

One Board Seat on the Ballot

The directed-proxy guide lists Kay Norman and Lajustice Mason as candidates and provides a write-in space. Homeowners directing a vote should select no more than one person for the single available seat. Selecting more than one means the form will be used for quorum only.

How to Complete Your Directed Proxy

Begin by printing your name in the opening blank, then select one of the two proxy options. The first option allows the proxy to count toward quorum without casting a vote on your behalf. The second lets you designate a representative to cast your vote as directed; complete that person’s name and address and make your selection for the board seat. If neither option is selected, the form will be used for quorum only.

Finish by signing and dating the form, printing your first and last name, and entering your Williamsburg Colony property address. The association’s illustrated proxy guide highlights each field. The image is marked “EXAMPLE”; use the actual directed proxy provided with your annual-meeting materials.

Return Options and Important Dates

Crest Management’s reminder asks homeowners to have their proxies received by October 9 at noon. The guide lists return options that include email to jenniferr@crest-management.com and fax to 281-579-7062. Homeowners mailing their forms should follow the address on their own meeting materials and allow time for delivery.

The guide also permits a proxy holder to submit the form before the meeting convenes, or in-person delivery at 2315 John Crump Lane on October 14 between 7 and 7:59 p.m. No directed proxies will be accepted after the meeting begins. Homeowners planning to use a meeting-night return option should contact the community manager to clarify how that option relates to the October 9 deadline in the reminder.

If a homeowner attends the annual meeting in person, the previously submitted directed proxy is automatically revoked. Otherwise, the proxy applies to this annual meeting and any recalled meeting needed if quorum is not reached, and expires when the annual meeting concludes.

Questions or Missing Meeting Materials?

Contact community manager Jennifer R. at 281-945-4720 or jenniferr@crest-management.com for help with the proxy, return instructions or a copy of the meeting materials. Her contact information is also available on the Crest Management community page.
