REMINDER: Harris County Sheriff’s Office Summer Kickoff Coming to The Colonies June 26 with Free Family Fun, Activities and Community Resources
Summer is officially arriving in The Colonies, and local families have an opportunity to celebrate together at a free community event designed to bring neighbors, families, and local organizations together for an afternoon of fun.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Summer Kickoff will take place on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Colonies Neighborhood Center, located at 15003 Yorktown Colony Drive in Houston. The event is being hosted by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, HCMUD 102, and HCMUD 257 and is open to residents throughout The Colonies.
More than just a summer celebration, the event offers an opportunity for residents to connect with community partners, learn about local resources, meet public safety personnel, and spend quality time with neighbors before the busy summer season gets fully underway.
A Day of Free Family Fun
