The Westlake CIA will hold its homeowners meetings by zoom. If you would like to attend, sign up for TownSquare or email info.westlake@gmail.com for the invitation. If you have a private matter you wish to discuss with the Board, send an email to info.westlake@gmail.com and you will be added to the agenda for 6:30 PM. The Board hopes to soon be able to hold in-person meetings at the civic center on Franz Rd. The variable is the Covid ruling by the CDC.

DEED RESTRICTIONS

Deed restrictions for Westlake and Westlake Forest are available for your review on our website at www.westlakecia.org. The policy for deed restrictions violations is to send a courtesy notice, followed by a warning notice if the violation is not cleared. If the violation is still not cleared, a fine of $100 will be assessed.

We have a small percentage of incorrigible offenders who continue to frustrate their neighbors and receive an ever increasing number of violations and fines. The vast majority of our residents maintain their properties in good order. We thank you for taking pride in your home and community.

PARKING IN NEIGHBORHOODS

By now everyone is familiar with the Texas parking law. And most residents are well aware of the flagrant violators of this state law. Tickets will continue to be written to those who refuse to stop parking used cars and junk vehicles on the public roadway. The Texas street parking laws, for those who do not remember them, are listed on the homepage of our website at www.westlakecia.org. We have noted the numerous complaints from our homeowners and residents about the problems navigating many of the streets and our deputy is doing what he can to alleviate this. The Westlake Fire Department has had multiple problems moving emergency vehicles through the overcrowded streets and that could one day result in a terrible tragedy.
