Katy Heritage Society 2023 Scholarship Now Open
Katy was founded by hard working visionaries who settled wild prairie, opened businesses, and created opportunity. In the spirit of our founders, Katy Heritage Society is offering a scholarship that is open to anyone who is seeking education to provide for their family, advance in their career, learn a trade or pursue higher education.
Participants must be enrolled or be seeking enrollment at an accredited community college, college, university, business, vocational, continuing education program or technical school and must reside or work within the geographic boundaries of the Katy Independent School District.
While this scholarship is open to any age, it was distinctly created to provide an opportunity for adults or currently employed persons who wish to further their education, to advance their professional career or improve opportunities for those seeking to provide income to care for their families.

The mission of Katy Heritage Society is to further the educational and cultural development of the community by preserving, restoring, and displaying historical landmarks, natural beauty, documents, and other objects distinctive of Katy and adjacent areas.
Located at 5990 George Bush Dr, Katy, TX 77493, Katy Heritage Park is home to five historic Katy structures and a beautiful bandstand. Our historic homes are decorated with period-appropriate historical items. Enjoy these homes that have been in Katy for over 100 years. Have a picnic and enjoy the shade in our gazebo. The park grounds are open dawn until dusk. Katy Heritage Society homes are generally open for tours the first weekend of every month from 12 pm - 4 pm. Email us to schedule a private group tour.
