Home for the Holidays Gift Market Brings Christmas Magic to Katy This Weekend

November 20 2025

As the twinkling lights go up and the scent of cinnamon fills the air, one Texas holiday tradition is helping families make the season feel truly special. The Home for the Holidays Gift Market rolls into Katy, Texas this weekend for its highly anticipated three-day event at the Merrell Center — offering festive fun, local shopping, and seasonal spirit all under one roof.

Running November 21–23, the Katy market is one of the final stops in a 15-show tour across Texas — and it’s one of the biggest. Shoppers will find more than 100 vendors featuring unique holiday gifts, gourmet treats, boutique clothing, artisan goods, home décor, and more, all in an atmosphere designed to celebrate community and connection.

For Stacie Bowles, founder and producer of the Home for the Holidays Gift Market, bringing this experience to life is personal.

“Our Katy show is always one of the biggest and most joyful of the season,” Bowles said. “People love the energy, the tradition, and the feeling of community. It’s truly what shopping during the holidays should feel like.”

That phrase — “The Way Shopping Should Feel” — isn’t just a tagline. It’s a mission for Bowles, who launched the first Home for the Holidays Gift Market after starting her own candle-making business years ago. Based in Katy and driven by a desire to support other local artisans like herself, she began organizing craft markets to give vendors a larger platform and families a festive, meaningful way to shop.

Today, her growing slate of shows, including Autumn Acres, Hollydays Gift Market, and the ImagineNation Expo, spans from Waco to Waxahachie, and from Corpus Christi to Plano. But it’s the Katy market — a hometown favorite — that continues to draw thousands each year.

“This was always about more than just making a living,” Bowles shared in a past interview. “It was about building something that could serve others — our family, our vendors, and the community.”

The Merrell Center will once again transform into a holiday wonderland this weekend, where families and friends can stroll vendor aisles filled with handcrafted finds and stocking stuffers — many from small businesses based right here in Texas. With the smell of roasted pecans in the air and the sound of holiday cheer echoing through the halls, visitors of all ages are sure to find a little magic.

“We have so many families that come back every year,” Bowles said. “It’s amazing to see grandmothers bringing their grandchildren, just like they did when their kids were small. That’s the beauty of these shows—they’re not just about shopping; they’re about creating memories.”

With two more shows remaining after Katy — Hollydays Market in Rosenberg (Dec. 5–7) and Home for the Holidays Humble (Dec. 6–7) — there’s still time to embrace the season and support local. But the Katy show remains one of the most popular stops, and locals are encouraged to attend early for the best selection.

“When you’re able to help someone grow their business or introduce a new vendor to a whole community of customers, that’s where the real blessing happens,” Bowles said.

The Home for the Holidays Gift Market offers a reminder that holiday joy isn’t about fast shipping or click-to-cart convenience. It’s about slowing down, engaging with your community, and finding gifts that carry meaning — and memories.

If you’re still looking to make this Christmas feel like Christmas — Katy’s Home for the Holidays Gift Market is the perfect place to start. Get your tickets here and don't miss this unforgettable Christmas shopping experience.
