Judson ISD Senior Citizen Gold Card Gives Local Residents Free Admission to Many Student Events
For grandparents, longtime neighbors and other senior residents who enjoy cheering on Judson ISD students, one small card can make it easier to stay connected to the schools and young people in their community.
Judson Independent School District is reminding residents age 65 and older about its Senior Citizen Gold Card, which offers eligible community members free admission to many Judson ISD athletic and Fine Arts events throughout the year. The card does not expire, meaning residents only need to obtain it once.
For Judson ISD families, the program is more than a ticket benefit. It gives grandparents and senior neighbors another reason to fill the stands, attend performances and see firsthand what students are accomplishing across the district.
Who Qualifies for the Judson ISD Senior Citizen Gold Card?
The eligibility requirements are straightforward: residents must be 65 or older and live within Judson ISD boundaries.
Eligible residents can obtain their Gold Card in person at the Judson ISD Educational Resource Center, or ERC, at 8205 Palisades Drive in Live Oak, Texas 78233.
The ERC is open for Gold Card visits Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., according to the district. Residents should bring a photo ID when applying.
There is no expiration date on the card.
What Does the Judson ISD Gold Card Include?
The Senior Citizen Gold Card provides free admission to many Judson ISD athletic and Fine Arts events throughout the year, giving senior residents opportunities to attend everything from student competitions to performances without paying regular admission.
Because the district describes the benefit as applying to “many” events rather than every event, cardholders may want to confirm admission details for a particular game, competition or performance before attending.
That access can be especially meaningful in a district where extracurricular activities are a major part of school life. Judson ISD students participate in athletics, choir, theater and other Fine Arts programs throughout the year, creating a steady calendar of opportunities for families and community members to show their support.

How to Get a Judson ISD Senior Citizen Gold Card
Residents who qualify can visit the Judson ISD Educational Resource Center, 8205 Palisades Drive, Live Oak, TX 78233, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and bring a photo ID.
Once issued, the Senior Citizen Gold Card does not expire.
For Judson ISD families, that means the card can continue opening doors to student activities year after year — and potentially bring another familiar face into the crowd when students take the field, stage or spotlight.
