Judson ISD Block Party Brings Free School Supplies, Family Fun and Campus Connections to Judson High School
Judson ISD families will have a chance to pick up school supplies, meet campus staff and reconnect with their school community before the new academic year begins at the 2026 JISD Dream Team Block Party.
The free back-to-school event is scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Judson High School, located at 9142 FM 78. Organizers are inviting students, parents and community members from across the Judson Independent School District to attend.
More than an evening of entertainment, the Judson ISD Block Party is designed to help families feel informed, supported and ready for the first day of school. Students can become more familiar with their campuses, parents can connect with district employees and families can learn about services available throughout the community.
Free School Supplies, Hot Dogs and Family Activities
Families attending the JISD Block Party can receive free school supplies and enjoy free hot dogs. Food trucks and vendors selling sweet treats will also be available for those interested in purchasing additional food.
Activities are planned for guests of all ages, giving children an opportunity to have fun while parents gather practical information for the upcoming school year. The event also creates a relaxed setting where families can meet teachers, administrators and other staff members who will support students throughout the year.
For households balancing school supply lists, schedules and other back-to-school expenses, the free resources may provide meaningful help while bringing families together in one central location.
A Community Celebration of the Judson ISD Dream Team
The event will celebrate what Judson ISD calls its “Dream Team,” a districtwide community that includes students, families, educators, employees and local partners.
That community focus is central to the block party. Families will be able to connect with their individual campuses, meet other Judson ISD parents and learn more about the people and programs serving students across the district.
For students who may feel nervous about returning to class, meeting school staff in a casual environment can make the transition feel more familiar. For parents, the event offers an opportunity to ask questions, identify helpful resources and begin the year with stronger connections to their child’s school.
Judson ISD Block Party Event Details
The 2026 Judson ISD Dream Team Block Party will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, at Judson High School, 9142 FM 78.
Admission is free. Families can expect school supplies, hot dogs, activities, community resources and opportunities to connect with campus representatives. Food trucks and sweet treats will be available for purchase.

Vendor and Community Partner Opportunities Available
Judson ISD is also inviting businesses, nonprofit organizations, service providers and other community partners to participate as vendors.
There is no vendor fee, and participating organizations will have an opportunity to introduce their programs and services directly to local students and families. The district is particularly interested in partners that can provide resources, support or information useful to households preparing for the new school year.
