HOLIDAY DECORATION WINNERS

HOLIDAY DECORATION REMOVAL
The Georgetown Colony POA Architectural Guidelines requires all Christmas/Holiday decorations must be removed no later than February 1st of the succeeding calendar year. SCS Management will issue DVR letters to homeowners that have Christmas/Holiday decorations remaining beyond February 1st removal date.
2022 GC1 HOA ASSESSMENT FEES
Thank you to everyone who is current on their Homeowners Association assessment fee. The HOA fee payment was due no later than January 31, 2022 to avoid additional delinquent fees. Payments can be made online or via installment plan. Contact Chaparral Mgmt. company to setup an installment plan.
SPRINGTIME YARD TREATMENT
Early February is the time to treat your yard to a pre-emergence herbicide (Ace Hardware sells the NitroPhos Barricade Pre-emergence Herbicide) to eliminate those sticker burs, cloverleaf, thistle, etc... from appearing in Springtime.
HOA ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW CHAIRPERSON OPEN POSITION
We are still looking to fill the position for an Architectural Review Chairperson. Anyone interested please contact one of the Board members or Chapparal Mgmt company.
HOA ANNUAL MEETING
The HOA annual meeting is scheduled for 2nd Tuesday in March. Please mark your calendar to attend and become engaged in your community. Board and committee positions are available.
CRPOA (COLONIES RECREATIONAL PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION) TOWN HALL MEETING
The CRPOA Town hall meeting is scheduled for March 22, 2022 at 6:30 PM. The discussion will be community outreach and engagement and what to do with The Colonies Neighborhood pool. Your attendance and opinion counts.

Georgetown Colony supports our Harris County Sheriff patrol and contract deputies keeping our neighborhood safe. Be vigilant and report suspicious activity, by calling please the Sheriff’s Department, non-emergency line 713-221-6000.

Prepared for a cold winter freeze? Stock up on gas, water and wood to keep warm. Don’t forget your pets. Provide adequate shelter for your outdoor pet. They matter too.
WE ARE A COMMUNITY THAT LOVE OUR PETS
The weather will be cooler and it will be the perfect weather to walk your fur babies. Keep your pets safe by ensuring your gates and fences are maintained and your pets are chipped or have an ID collar, just in case they get loose and can be returned safely. If you suspect animal abuse, neglect, hoarding, torture or dogfighting, please report it to the Harris County Animal Cruelty Taskforce at 927PAWS.org or 832-927-PAWS.
DEED RESTRICTIONS
Please refer to our deed restrictions to avoid violations and fees. Here are a few to avoid: RV’s, trailers, commercial vehicles parked for an excessive amount of time in public view, growing agricultural, like corn in public view, parking vehicles on your lawn, etc... Deed restrictions will be enforced.
