Georgetown Colony Board Meeting Rescheduled to February 5, with Key Bylaw Amendments and Policies on the Agenda
In an important update for Georgetown Colony homeowners, the regularly scheduled HOA Board of Directors meeting—originally planned for February 2, 2026—has been rescheduled to Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 7:00 PM. This meeting will be held virtually via Google Meet, offering a convenient opportunity for residents to stay informed and involved in neighborhood governance from the comfort of home.
The Georgetown Colony Board of Directors will cover a range of significant items during the meeting. Among them are two proposed Bylaw Amendments that directly affect how the Board operates:

A Bylaw Amendment for Declining Quorum, which aims to address challenges related to meeting attendance and decision-making,

A Bylaw Amendment Reducing the Number of Directors, which may change the current structure of the HOA Board moving forward.
Additionally, the Board will review and vote on several key policy updates relevant to community safety and governance, including:
- ACC Eligibility Policy – clarifying who can serve on the Architectural Control Committee,
- Solicitation Policy – aimed at limiting unwanted door-to-door activity,
- Security Measures Policy – focusing on community safety and standards.
