EōS Fitness Plans New Cinco Ranch-Area Gym in Katy With Outdoor Workout Space

Katy / Fulshear  /  Katy / Fulshear
August 21 2026

For Cinco Ranch-area residents who have watched new restaurants, retail centers and services follow rooftops across west Katy, another recognizable name is preparing to join the mix.

EōS Fitness is planning a new health and fitness club at the southwest corner of Spring Green Boulevard and Cinco Terrace Drive in Katy, according to project information filed for the development. The privately funded project calls for a ground-up fitness facility with an estimated construction cost of $6.5 million, adding another sizable recreational and wellness option near Cinco Ranch.

Construction is currently listed to begin Oct. 23, 2026, with completion scheduled for Oct. 23, 2027.

The location is no longer simply a project on paper from the company's perspective. EōS Fitness now lists the 25215 Cinco Terrace Dr, Katy, TX 77494 gym on its official website as a coming-soon Katy location, identifying it as the Spring Green Boulevard/Westpark Tollway gym and giving it a planned 2027 opening. The company says the location is expected to operate 24 hours a day.

A Large New Fitness Facility Near Cinco Ranch

Plans call for a 42,677-square-foot building, along with a 2,480-square-foot outdoor exercise area. The project information lists a combined square footage of 45,157 square feet.

That outdoor component fits closely with the type of newer gym EōS has been developing around the country. The Cinco Terrace Drive location's official page already identifies several planned signature amenities, including The Backyard outdoor workout area, The EōS Yard, strength-training spaces, recovery areas, group fitness classes and the company's MOVEōS Cinema concept.

For residents searching for a new gym near Cinco Ranch, Katy or Fulshear, the project also adds another option along a corridor that already serves a large portion of west Katy's residential growth.

It will not be EōS Fitness's first presence in the area. The company currently operates a gym at 1719 Spring Green Boulevard near FM 1463, also in Katy. That location offers strength and cardio equipment, group fitness programming and other amenities.

A second future Katy-area EōS is also planned near Texas Heritage Parkway and Interstate 10, where the company lists another 2027 opening.

Taken together, the projects point to a noticeably larger EōS footprint across Katy rather than a one-location entry into the market.

What Is EōS Fitness?

EōS Fitness has grown quickly from a regional gym operator into one of the country's larger high-value fitness chains.

The EōS brand dates its current expansion era to 2014. By September 2023, the company had surpassed 1 million members and had more than 125 gyms either open or planned nationwide.

That growth accelerated substantially over the next several years.

EōS reported in February 2026 that it had surpassed 2 million members, after increasing its national footprint by more than 20% during the fourth quarter of 2025.

Today, the company's website reports more than 150 gyms open, approximately 50 opening soon and another 50 planned. Its current expansion covers markets in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, Texas and Utah.

The company has said it is working toward 250 gyms by 2030.

What Makes EōS Fitness Different?

EōS operates under what the fitness industry commonly calls a High Value, Low Price, or HVLP, model: large gyms with extensive equipment and amenities paired with entry-level memberships designed to remain relatively inexpensive.

Most EōS locations offer memberships beginning around $9.99 per month, although rates and included amenities vary by location and membership level. Many of the company's newer gyms also operate around the clock.

Where EōS has increasingly tried to distinguish itself is in what members find beyond the standard rows of treadmills and weight machines.

The coming Cinco Terrace Drive gym's planned amenities include group fitness classes, strength-training equipment, EōS Smart Strength powered by EGYM, recovery spaces, outdoor exercise areas and MOVEōS Cinema, the company's cardio theater where members can exercise while watching movies on a large screen.

EōS has also been rolling out technology-driven fitness tools. In 2025, the company announced the introduction of EGYM Genius, artificial-intelligence software designed to generate personalized training plans using equipment available inside individual EōS gyms.

Other amenities listed for the future Katy gym include sauna access, free weights, personal training, small-group training, body-composition scanning and virtual Les Mills classes. Specific amenities and access can depend on membership tier.

EōS Fitness Is Expanding Rapidly Across Greater Houston

The new Cinco Ranch-area location is part of a much broader EōS expansion across Greater Houston and Texas.

Houston has been one of the company's major growth markets for several years. EōS said in 2023 that it planned to develop 50 new locations across the Greater Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth areas, an expansion it projected could create roughly 2,800 jobs in Texas by 2028.

Since then, new Houston-area locations have continued to arrive.

EōS opened Houston gyms near Tomball Parkway, Highway 6, West Road and the Sam Houston Tollway, and Voss Road and San Felipe, among other locations.

Its future-location list also includes gyms planned for The Woodlands, League City, Pasadena and Texas City, in addition to the Katy projects.

Texas as a whole has become an increasingly important piece of that expansion. When EōS opened its first San Antonio location in June 2026, the company said it had reached 29 Texas gyms and expected to hit its 30th Texas location later that month.

Why Another Large Gym Matters for the Cinco Ranch Area

A new fitness center might seem like a fairly straightforward commercial development, but the location is another example of businesses following population and residential growth into the western Katy area.

Large gyms depend on a sizable nearby customer base and repeat visits, which tends to make them particularly visible additions to growing suburban commercial corridors.

For families around Cinco Ranch and surrounding west Katy neighborhoods, the Spring Green Boulevard location could also shorten the trip to an EōS gym for residents who currently use other Katy, Richmond or Houston-area facilities.

The project is especially notable because the company is planning multiple Katy-area gyms at roughly the same time. Along with the existing Spring Green Boulevard/FM 1463 location, EōS lists both Cinco Terrace Drive near the Westpark Tollway and Texas Heritage Parkway near I-10 among its upcoming Katy locations.

That clustering suggests EōS sees enough demand across the Katy area to support several large-format fitness centers serving different parts of the community.

What Happens Next

If the current construction timeline holds, work on the EōS Fitness near Cinco Ranch is expected to begin in October 2026 and continue for approximately one year.

EōS currently lists the gym simply as opening in 2027, so a specific public opening date has not yet been announced.

For residents who pass the Spring Green Boulevard and Cinco Terrace Drive area regularly, that means the site could begin looking very different over the coming year as another major piece of Katy's expanding retail and service landscape takes shape.
