Cy-Hope Launches Summer Feeding Program to Support Underserved Children
Cy-Hope, a Cypress-area nonprofit organization dedicated to instilling hope in underserved children, kicks off its Summer Feeding Program today. This initiative is part of Cy-Hope's broader commitment to nurturing the potential of these children, enabling them to become educated, empowered individuals who contribute positively to their communities.
The Summer Feeding Program will operate out of four different locations every Wednesday from June 19 through July 31, with varying hours of operation per location. The distribution sites include:

The Summer Feeding Program is a continuation of Cy-Hope's Backpack Program, which has been working to prevent childhood hunger and ensuring children can succeed in school by providing food for economically disadvantaged students every weekend since 2011. In 2023 alone, the Backpack/Summer Feeding Program served 1,140 students, including 1,073 from Cy-Fair ISD and 51 from Waller ISD, according to Cy-Hope's 2023 impact report.
