Katy Nutcracker Exchange and Annual Christmas Tree Lighting brings Historic Town Square in Katy to life with holiday shopping, community tradition, and an evening centered on the city’s seasonal tree-lighting celebration.
Hosted by the City of Katy, this combined one-day holiday event blends the Nutcracker Exchange market with the annual Christmas tree lighting for families across Katy, Fulshear, and nearby communities. Local vendors and unique handmade goods set the tone during the afternoon, while the tree-lighting portion gives neighbors a reason to stay into the evening and enjoy a community Christmas gathering in the heart of Historic Town Square.
Those planning to attend may want to allow extra time for browsing vendors before dusk and watch for city updates on the exact tree-lighting moment, which is still to be announced.
