City of Katy Unveils New Playground at Woodsland Park, Igniting Imagination and Adventure in Katy
The City of Katy is buzzing with excitement as Woodsland Park unveils a thrilling new addition to its family-oriented attractions. Today, the City of Katy Parks and Recreation Department announced the completion of a brand new playground located at the core of Woodsland Park.
Nestled perfectly amidst the dense forestry of the park, this new playground is an oasis of fun and adventure, fully equipped with slides, climbing structures, and a tower that promises to captivate little adventurers and ignite their imaginations.

Known for its secluded ambiance, the park offers an array of amenities including a covered basketball pavilion, picnic tables, an outdoor pavilion with a large barbecue pit, and a community building.
In addition to its existing features, Woodsland Park is also home to the city’s senior services day activities and community fitness classes. Its amenities don't stop at outdoor fun. A spacious Community Center with a capacity of 100 people is available and can be rented out for events like weddings, parties, and gatherings, complete with a full kitchen, indoor restrooms, tables, and chairs.
The eagerly-anticipated playground is poised to become the latest crowd-favorite in Woodsland Park, located at 443 Danover Road, Katy, TX 77494. The City of Katy Parks and Recreation Department invites everyone of all ages to come and explore this exciting new playground.
