CFISD Student of the Week: Danny Hernandez Â
Hamilton Middle School sixth-grade student Danny Hernandez excels both inside and outside of the classroom, as he is regularly noted by teachers for his volunteerism and helpful nature.
School: Hamilton Middle School | Age: 12 | Grade: 6
Accomplishments: Hernandez has been on the A/B honor roll the entire school year and received a “difference maker” award.
Favorite class: “I enjoy World Cultures because the class is quiet and my teacher and classmates are nice.”
Favorite things to do after class: “I enjoy tidying up my room and my house because I enjoy seeing things organized. I like playing with my sisters after the work is done.”
Favorite song: “All the Stars by Kendrick Lamar.”
Favorite website/app: “Z-Type is my favorite because it helps my type faster. It also helps me type a paragraph or a passage faster.”
Favorite movie: “Free Guy because it was filled with action and comedy, which I find important for a movie.”
Ambition: “I would like to be an electrical engineer and my goal next year is to join tech class to help prepare me.”
What topics/things are you passionate about?: “Technology because it helps the world around us.”
What inspires you?: “My family.”
What three things can’t you live without?: “My family, God and my home.”
What are you most looking forward to this semester?: “I’m looking forward to events in my elective, which is band.”
