Halloween is almost here, and Canyon Gate at Cinco Ranch residents have a chance to celebrate with their neighbors before the trick-or-treating begins. The community's annual Halloween Party is set for Friday, October 30, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Canyon Gate Recreation Center, with an evening of family-friendly activities, costumes, candy and Halloween music.

The event is free and open exclusively for Canyon Gate residents, offering families a convenient way to enjoy Halloween festivities close to home. Whether children are excited to show off their costumes, collect treats or play games with friends, there will be plenty to keep everyone entertained.

Trunk or Treat, Costume Contest and Halloween Activities at Canyon Gate

One of the evening's main attractions will be Trunk 'r Treat, giving children an opportunity to collect candy and treats as they make their way through the participating vehicles.

Families can also enjoy Halloween-themed games, music and a costume contest featuring prizes in multiple categories. Special guest judges will help select the winners, giving children and adults another reason to get creative with their Halloween costumes.

The festivities begin at 6 p.m., and residents are encouraged to come dressed for the occasion.

For families looking for Halloween events in the Katy and Cinco Ranch area, the neighborhood celebration provides an opportunity to enjoy seasonal activities without traveling far from home.

Canyon Gate Halloween Party Volunteers and Candy Donations Still Needed

While preparations are underway, organizers are still looking for a few extra helping hands to make the evening a success.

Volunteers are needed to assist with games and participate in Trunk 'r Treat. Anyone volunteering should arrive at the Canyon Gate Recreation Center no later than 5:30 p.m., allowing time to prepare before the festivities begin.

Organizers are also welcoming candy donations from residents who would like to contribute. Although candy has already been purchased for the event, organizers say supplies typically run out, making additional donations especially helpful.

Residents interested in volunteering, donating candy or learning more about volunteer expectations can contact the community's property manager at PropertyManager@CanyonGateAtCincoRanch.com.
