Beans & Brews Coffee Shop Further Expands Footprint in Katy
Beans & Brews, an established coffee brand in the U.S., is set to open its second location in Katy. With construction starting in early November, the new shop will be situated at 24020 Clay Rd, Katy, TX 77493, in the northwest quadrant of Clay Road and Porter Road, positioned near the Katy Pointe and Ventana Lakes neighborhoods.
This expansion arrives on the heels of the second Houston-area Beans & Brews, which was announced in July 2024. The soon-to-come Beans & Brews location in Katy continues the brand's national growth, following the successful opening of nearly 80 outlets across the U.S., including its first Houston-area store in Spring.
The roots of Beans & Brews trace back to 1993 when the Laramie family established the first coffeehouse next to Liberty Park in Salt Lake City. The brand's coffee beans are curated through a unique high-altitude roasting style, which results in an unparalleled smoothness in its coffee, an attribute that has since become a distinguishable Beans & Brews hallmark. The brand takes pride in roasting all their coffee beans in-house at their Salt Lake City headquarters.

The Beans & Brews menu includes a broad selection of traditional hot drinks like lattes and cappuccinos, and innovative iced, blended and frozen coffee drinks. Its unique flavors such as Cookie Monster and Caramel Crème are a customer favorite. For patrons with a preference for non-coffee beverages, the menu offers an intriguing array of options, from chai and iced teas to smoothies and energy drinks. Completing the menu is a spectrum of breakfast items and baked goods, ranging from hearty breakfast sandwiches to fresh pastries and bagels.
