Utah-Based Beans & Brews Coffeehouse Set to Open Second Houston-Area Location in Katy
Beans & Brews, a coffee shop that is rapidly growing across the United States, is set to expand its operations to Katy with a new location at 20314 Franz Road. The new coffeehouse will be situated in a shopping center that currently includes Jeremiah's Italian ice, Indulge Nail Bar, and Gero Barber Shop.
This launch follows the opening of the first Houston area store in Spring, joining nearly 80 Beans & Brews Coffeehouse locations across the United States with dozens more in the pipeline. Construction of the Katy store is slated to begin by the end of this month and reach completion around the end of October, according to Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
Originating from humble beginnings in 1993, the Laramie family set up the first Beans & Brews coffee house adjacent to Salt Lake City's popular Liberty Park. They refined a distinct style of high-altitude roasting, which provides their coffee with a unique smoothness that has since become their signature. The brand roasts all of their coffee beans in-house at their Salt Lake City headquarters.

Beans & Brews offers a diverse menu designed to cater to coffee lovers and casual diners alike. Their selection includes a variety of iced, blended and frozen coffee drinks in flavors like Cookie Monster and caramel crème, along with traditional hot drinks like lattes and cappuccinos.
