Alzheimer's Association Community Forum Coming to Fussell Senior Center

On Tuesday, March 28, the Fussell Senior Center will host the Alzheimer's Association Katy Community Forum in collaboration with Amazing Place, Carriage Inn Katy, Houston Methodist West Hospital, The YMCA, City of Katy, Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office and the Take Me Home Program. From 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM, the community is invited to join the discussion on how we can better support those with memory loss and their caregivers.  Lunch will be provided!  Please sign up by calling 281-391-4837 or visiting the  Fussell Senior Center at 5370 E 5th Street in Katy, calling the Alzheimer's Association at 800-272-3900 or by clicking the link below.

About the Fussell Senior Center

The Senior Services Department coordinates activities and programs to serve older Americans and others. Active seniors enjoy a full schedule of fun and games, exercise and health checks, day trips and movies, crafts, parties, holiday celebrations, dining out and much more. The department's goal is to provide seniors with programs and activities that stimulate their hearts, minds, physical well-being and in turn, encourages them to maintain an independent and productive lifestyle.

The Fussell Senior Citizen Center was built in 2012 and is a member of the National Institute of Senior Centers (NISC). The Senior Center won Houston’s Best Senior Center in 2017 and 2018 for the Senior Resource Guide’s Annual Reader’s Choice Award. The department strives to accomplish this through a variety of activities and programs.
