27 Feline Storm Victims from Pasadena Animal Shelter Safely Arrive at Houston SPCA

January 24 2023

The Houston SPCA veterinary staff and animal care teams were standing by late into the night at the Animal Medical Center on their campus when several dozen feline storm victims arrived from the Pasadena Animal Shelter after their shelter suffered major storm damage earlier today.

The cats were carefully unloaded around 10:00 PM, given some food and water before they settled down for a quiet night. The felines will be given individualized medical assessments before they are available for adoption.
