Ways You Can Help Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries
Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries (TEAM), a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting Tomball residents in need of emergency assistance to meet basic needs, is currently seeking food donations for their food pantry. In addition, TEAM encourages the community to stop by their resale shop and, in particular, have a look through their book collection to find good reads, sheet music and more.

Help Stock TEAM's Food Pantry
The Houston Food Bank (normally a source of food for TEAM) continues to be very, very short on supplies right now, so TEAM’s Food Pantry is in real need of local donations of food staples such as:
- Mac n’ Cheese
- Jelly
- Tuna
- Toilet paper
- And/or other nutritious and shelf-stable items
Donations are accepted on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. To donate food and supplies to our pantry, drive down the alley behind TEAM to the double doors marked Food Donations. Knock loudly.
Book Nook's Special Collections
| Big, fancy libraries have them and TEAM's Resale Shop Book Nook has some great special collections, too. Next time you are browsing, seek out TEAM's special price books, those whose known value rates a higher price than $2.00. If you are interested in Texana, TEAM has a shelf with old and new books highlighting the Lone Star State. And then there is sheet music...not technically books but available at a super price. About TEAM
Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries (TEAM) was established as a nonprofit organization in 1985, when 13 Tomball churches joined together to "follow Christ's command to love and provide for those in need" in their community.
TEAM operates a resale shop, food pantry and an assistance ministry. They provide short-term assistance with food, clothing, shelter, rent and utilities, as well as medical, dental and prescription needs. TEAM is a ministry and, as such, provides assistance based on legitimate and thoroughly vetted needs. TEAM receives no government funding, yet more than 90% of all donations go directly to meet client needs. This is only possible through volunteer support, and food and financial donations from members of the Tomball community.
