Volunteers Needed

Beginning with our September 9th GTHOA Board meeting, the Board will begin the 2022 budget process. The GTHOA Board will look to our volunteers for ideas, support and planning for this budget season process. Volunteering is a great way to introduce ideas into our community and ensure a successful planning process to keep our community alive and vibrant. GTHOA has a need for your help with the local committees in the following areas:
- Architectural Application Review Team - This person will serve with 2 other neighborhood volunteers to review Architectural Change submissions in the online tool and confirm alignment with the HOA Architectural Guidelines.
- Social Media Liaison - This person will work with the Board and Committee Chairs to get the word out regarding HOA events and communications via Facebook, this monthly publication and the HOA website.
- Fence Replacement Committee - The HOA fences are aging and the HOA needs help finding cost effective solutions for replacement. Once a solution is recommended and approved, this team will work to monitor the installation progress.
- Reserve Study Volunteers - An update to the Reserve Study is planned for 2022 and the Committee needs help reviewing asset replacement costs.
- First Impressions Committee - The team that works on the landscaping at the I-10 entrances to the neighborhood is separate from the HOA Landscape committee. They need volunteers to help with these community beautification efforts.
- Community Event Chairs - Each of our large neighborhood events needs its own Chair. If you like to party plan, this is your role!
- Parks - Volunteer needed who will re-paint three hopscotch game lines. One is located at Desert Ivy Park and two are located at Crescent Green park.
