From a fitness enthusiast and stay-at-home mom to a successful business owner, hot yoga and saunas have completely transformed the life of Tonya Norman.
"My journey with HOTWORX began when I sought out a gym away from home and instantly fell in love with it. As a fitness enthusiast, I've always appreciated the benefits of infrared heat," shares Tonya, the proud owner of HOTWORX North Katy.
Tonya, previously from the Beaumont area, has a deep connection with wellness and fitness. She was attracted by the innovative concept of working out inside a sauna, in addition to the affordability of membership. "The idea of working out inside a sauna, combined with the affordability of membership, was compelling. HOTWORX offers unlimited 24/7 classes, with options ranging from 15 to 30 minutes," she elaborates.

The studio, equipped with 8 saunas offering High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and Isometric workouts, alongside a free weight section and amenities like a cable machine, and TRX training, is the fruit of her passion for fitness and wellness. "Witnessing people achieve their fitness goals brings me immense joy," she says, sharing her delight in the community's progress.
Tonya's daughters, Abigail and Anna, are currently pursuing their academic dreams away from home, at Vanderbilt University and Baylor University, respectively. This new chapter as an empty nester presented Tonya with the ideal opportunity to channel her passion and energy into sharing her passion for fitness and wellness with others. With her daughters forging their paths, Tonya found the space and time to focus on bringing Hotworx North Katy to life.

Fostering a holistic approach to wellness, it offers users the benefits of infrared heat absorption coupled with exercise. The patented sauna combines heat, infrared, and exercise, a unique concept dubbed as "3D Training". This allows users to sweat and detoxify while practicing various workout types. Not only does it provide diverse workout options, but it also creates a supportive community for those insistent on achieving their fitness goals.
Although HOTWORX North Katy only opened its doors in the fall of 2023, it has already become an impactful part of the community. To mark its commitment to the residents of the area in support of their fitness goals, HOTWORX North Katy celebrated its official ribbon cutting with the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce on January 19, 2024.
