Trafee Coffee & Tea Set to Open Its Doors with a Weeklong Soft Opening in Katy
The wait is over for local coffee and tea lovers. Trafee Coffee & Tea in Katy is officially opening its doors with a Soft Opening Week from September 10–17, 2025, welcoming the community to enjoy authentic Vietnamese coffee, refreshing teas, and a wide variety of specialty drinks.
Located at 1922 Greenhouse Rd, Suite 250, Houston, TX 77084, Trafee is offering customers 20% off all drinks (excluding matcha) during soft opening hours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
“This milestone wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support, patience, and encouragement we’ve received from the community,” the team shared on social media. “We can’t wait to welcome you in and serve you with so much love.”
A Local Build from the Ground Up
According to state permit filings, Trafee invested in a new $150,000 café and smoothie shop build-out, transforming a 1,368-square-foot space at Forresta Village into a modern coffee destination. The construction spanned from March through August 2025, preparing the way for this fall debut.
Forresta Village is a high-end retail center at the intersection of Greenhouse Road and Park Row, just north of I-10. Neighbors will recognize the area as home to 1000 Degrees Pizza, La Perlita Chino Boricua & Sushi, and AFC Urgent Care Katy - Greenhouse Road, with Texas Children’s Hospital – West Campus and Houston Methodist West just minutes away.
