Get ready to lace up your running shoes and make a difference in the Tomball community at the Tomball Independent School District (ISD) Superintendent's Fun Run! Presented by Tomball ISD MOVES, this much-anticipated event will take place on April 13, 2024, at the Tomball Event Center.
The Fun Run features a 5k timed race, a perfect opportunity for experienced runners and beginners alike to test their strength and endurance. Not a runner? No problem! The event also includes a 1-mile walking course set up around the Tomball ISD Stadium. So, back your fitness goals while enjoying the camaraderie of the Tomball community.
The Superintendent's Fun Run is more than just a race. It's a fun-filled event open to all - students, staff, and the Tomball community at large. Compete for the top spot, with awards given to the top 3 runners in each classification.
In addition to the race, a free festival will be included with the fun, offering a range of activities for families, including a Kidzone with inflatables, a bounce house, a toddler soft play area, a rock climbing wall, and face-painting by Crazy Chameleon. Attendees can also enjoy Tomball ISD student performances, food trucks on-site, and a Health and Wellness Vendor Fair featuring local partners supporting a healthy lifestyle.
Aside from the thrill of the race and festival, participants' contributions make a significant impact. Funds generated from the Fun Run are primarily used to cover event costs. Any surplus is utilized to provide incentives toward employee health and wellness at each campus and department across the district. Additionally, the proceeds support the Tomball Education Foundation, propelling its mission to provide innovative learning opportunities for Tomball ISD students.
So, whether you're a fitness enthusiast, a community member eager to support a good cause, or just want to have a fun day outdoors, the Tomball ISD Superintendent's Fun Run has something for you. Join your neighbors, and together, make strides toward health, wellness, and excellent education in the community.
