Blue Bell Expanding Beyond Classic Favorites in 2026
The Lone Star Scoop Tour comes during a busy year for Blue Bell Creameries, which has introduced several new products and expanded into new markets in 2026.
Among the company’s newest limited-time flavors is Brookie À La Mode Ice Cream, featuring brown sugar ice cream mixed with brownie chunks and chocolate chip cookie pieces. Blue Bell also recently released Honey Vanilla Ice Cream, a pint-sized flavor blending classic vanilla with a touch of honey sweetness.
In addition to indulgent treats, Blue Bell recently entered the better-for-you dessert category with the launch of Blue Bell PRO, a high-protein dairy dessert line available in Chocolate, Coffee, Salted Caramel, Strawberry, and Vanilla. According to the company, the desserts contain up to 35 grams of protein per pint with no added sugar and fewer calories.
The Brenham-based creamery is also continuing to grow outside its traditional Southern footprint. Earlier this year, Blue Bell expanded into parts of Ohio, including Cincinnati and Dayton, through a new distribution center in Lebanon, Ohio, bringing its products to additional grocery stores while supporting local hiring and community sampling events.
A Sweet Summer Tradition Across Texas
For many Texans, Blue Bell is more than just ice cream — it is part of summer traditions, road trips, family gatherings, and community events. The Lone Star Scoop Tour taps into that hometown nostalgia while giving residents a chance to enjoy free treats and connect with neighbors at local markets and gathering spaces throughout Tomball and Magnolia.
Families, ice cream lovers, and anyone looking for a fun community outing may want to add these stops to their June calendar.
