100 Acre Wood Preserve

Located at 14236 W Cypress Forest Drive in Houston, this park is open daily from 7:00 AM until dusk. 100 Acre Wood Preserve covers 110 acres with 1.8 miles of trails and includes a bike trail and restrooms. To learn more about this park, click the park map.
 

Broussard Park

Located at 1414 E. Hufsmith in TomballBroussard Park is a City-owned park located at 1414 E. Hufsmith. The land for this park was donated from the Broussard family and was made possible by contributions from the Humana Foundation, KaBOOM!, Baker Hughes, Tomball Regional Health Foundation, and over 200 community volunteers that assisted during our Community Build. Broussard Park features four (4) soccer fields total and is maintained and operated by Dynamo Dash Youth Soccer Club. The park includes restrooms and concession stand area, 0.75 mile walking track with exercise equipment, play structure, soccer fields, stocked ponds with large fishing pier and picnic tables with BBQ pits. Cypress Park

This 165-acre park is located in the heart of Cypress at 12925 North Eldridge Parkway in Cypress. With a scenic, paved trail totaling 1.56 miles winding alongside the banks of a large pond stretching across the park, visitors also have access to a playground, public restrooms, picnic areas, and more. Fritsche Park

Located at 10603 Fritsche Cemetery Road in Cypress, this park covers 91 acres and includes a gazebo, benches and walking trail. The park is also home to the Fritsche Cemetery, which is a historic site. Access to the spark is by reservation only. Jerry Matheson Park

Located at 1240 Ulrich Road in Tomball, Jerry Matheson Park is a 10-acre city-owned park across from Juergens Park located at 1240 Ulrich. The park was named after the late Tomball City Council member Jerry Matheson. There are 56 total parking spots and 5 of this total are handicap parking spots. Under the small pavilion, there are six picnic tables to sit under the shade and watch your kids play on the large wooden interactive playground. Inside the playground, there are two park benches. There are no barbeque pits though there are seven trashcans throughout the park. The park features a large interactive playground area, swimming pool, pee-wee baseball field, and tennis courts. Juergens Park

Located at 1331 Ulrich Road in Tomball TXJuergens Park is Tomball's first City-owned park, located at 1331 Ulrich, between Zion and Hufsmith Roads. The Juergens Family donated the land for this park, which had been in their family since 1964. The Chamber of Commerce, citizens, and the local community all participated in the park's construction. The park includes a large lighted pavilion, 0.5 mile walking track, playgrounds, basketball, volleyball and pickle ball courts, picnic areas, and restrooms. Kickerillo Mischer Preserve

Located at 20215 Chasewood Park in Houston, this 80-acre property features Marshall Lake and includes paved roads and trails, fishing piers, unpaved natural areas, a canoe launch, covered picnic area, and a fire ring for group and camping activities. Kleb Woods

Located at 20303 Draper Road in Tomball, Kleb Woods Nature Preserve & Center features more than 3 miles of paved and natural trails through 133 acres of pine forests, wetlands, and a remnant prairie. Before becoming a preserve, the property was prairie and farmland owned by the Kleb family. Elmer Kleb, who lived on the property from his birth in 1907 until his death in 1999, spent decades transforming the sparse farmland into a forested preserve. Now a thickly canopied forest, the preserve includes loblolly pine, Shumard oak, water oak, live oak, eastern red cedar, sugarberry, and pecan trees. Harris County purchased the land in 1991 to create a nature preserve, center, and heritage farm. Visitors can now explore the old Kleb homestead and blacksmith shop by appointment and view historical farm equipment. The park is also a popular birding destination featuring sparrows, wrens, blackbirds, mockingbirds, thrushes, robins, and waxwings. Camping is also available to Scouts. Little Cypress Creek Preserve

This 58-acre park is located at Telge Rd & Spring Cypress Road in Cypress. Open daily from 7:00 AM to dusk, Little Cypress Creek Preserve includes 1.7 miles of trails, a pond, gazebo, benches and more. To learn more about this park, click the park map.
 

Russ Poppe Family Park

This 123-acre park is located at 11675 Grant Road in Cypress. Open daily from 7:00 AM to dusk, Russ Poppe Family Park includes 0.7 miles of walking trails and 1.4 miles of bike trails, a playground, restrooms, pavilion with BBQ pit, and more. To learn more about this park, click the park map.
 

Theis Attaway Nature Center

Located at 13509 Theis Lane in Tomball, Theis Attaway Nature Center is a City of Tomball Park with a four-acre nature preserve. The park was donated and dedicated in memory of A. W. (Allie) Theis by his wife, Thelma Attaway Theis, and their children. The forefathers of the Theis family settled in the Tomball area in 1846.
