Texas Master Chorale Announces Auditions and 40th Anniversary Concert Season
Texas Master Chorale will hold auditions for their 2024-25 concert season on August 4 and 5.
Founded in 1986, Texas Master Chorale is a mixed choral ensemble of 100 auditioned singers who perform a variety of choral masterworks including classical, contemporary, sacred and secular.
Auditions will take place at John Wesley Church in northwest Houston from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 4, and from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on Monday, August 5. To schedule an appointment or download audition music, please visit TexasMasterChorale.org.
This year marks the 40th Anniversary of Texas Master Chorale, and the 2024-2025 concert season will celebrate four decades of music making!
Mark your calendars for Songs of Faith and Inspiration on October 19, 2024; A Feast of Carols on December 14, 2024; and the 40th Anniversary Celebration Concert, a premier commissioned work by Taylor Scott Davis, on May 3, 2025. All concerts will be presented at John Wesley Church, located at 5830 Bermuda Dunes Drive, Houston, TX 77069.
Tickets are $25 and may be purchased online at TexasMasterChorale.org, through the box office at 281-440-4850, or at the door. Season tickets purchased online before September 30 are $75.
